Toby Doman Joins Home Credit As Group Communications Head

After four years leading communications for Dow Jones Asia-Pacific, Toby Doman has taken on a global role at consumer finance company Home Credit.

HONG KONG — Home Credit has named Toby Doman as group communications head, to oversee comms strategy for the consumer finance company’s nine global markets.

Doman joins from Dow Jones, where he spent four years as Asia-Pacific communications director.

At Home Credit, he reports to chief external affairs officer Jan Ruzicka. He replaces Milan Tomanek, who has been with Home Credit for several years in the company’s Prague HQ.

Doman’s role will see him lead issues management, with a specific focus on public advocacy, IR and ESG-related communications.

Home Credit is part of investment firm PPF Group, and focuses on providing consumer financing to people with little or no credit.

Prior to joining Dow Jones in 2017, Doman spent seven years at Edelman in London and Singapore. He has also worked at WE and the National Police Chiefs’ Council.
