Belina Tan Named Asia-Pacific Communications Leader At Disney

Belina Tan has left Bloomberg to become VP of corporate communications for Asia-Pacific at the Walt Disney Company.

SINGAPORE — Belina Tan has left Bloomberg to become VP of corporate communications for Asia-Pacific at the Walt Disney Company.

Tan joins Disney after more than nine years with Bloomberg, where she was Asia-Pacific head of corporate communications, and also established the Bloomberg Women’s Buy-side Network, a community of senior female investment professionals.

At Disney, Tan will lead corporate communications teams to support the growth of the company’s media and entertainment, studio and consumer products businesses.

Reporting to Walt Disney Company Asia-Pacific president Luke Kang, Tan will oversee Disney’s external and internal communications, thought leadership and corporate social responsibility.

Tan joined Disney ahead of the arrival of chief corporate affairs officer Geoff Morrell, announced yesterday as the successor to Zenia Mucha.
