Foundation Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Association of Communication Directors Hong Kong // June 20, 2014
On June 20, 2014, more than 80 senior communicators gathered in Hong Kong to launch the first international network for in-house communication professionals across the Asia-Pacific region: the Asia-Pacific Association of Communication Directors (APACD).
Held at the headquarters of HSBC and bringing together communication peers from 15 countries, the launch event proved to be a lively start to the new association, with engaging discussions and support for this pan-Asian network dedicated to cross-border exchange, professionalisation, qualifications and knowledge sharing in the communications profession.
The meeting included a panel discussion on The Changing Asian Media Landscape in a Global Context with two renowned journalists from the region, Susan Li of CNBC and Nick Edwards of the South China Morning Post.
