APACD Launches Coffee Connection Buddy Program

APACD23rd September 2021

APACD is launching a one-to-one networking program to encourage and facilitate informal conversations and closer connections between members across the Asia-Pacific region.

The Asia-Pacific Association of Communication Directors is launching a one-to-one networking program to encourage and facilitate informal conversations and closer connections between APACD members across the Asia-Pacific region.

The Coffee Connection Buddy Program has been developed with the aim to enrich members’ experience of APACD and help them connect with a peer in another industry/geography, exchanging ideas, sharing challenges and expanding their networks, in the absence of traditional face-to-face networking opportunities.

“With the pandemic leading to a general inability to network and connect as we did before, this APACD initiative will increase engagement, boost exchange of ideas across our APAC comms network and open-up more fun and dynamic discussions!” said APACD president, Azmar Sukandar.

Members will be matched across geographies, aiming to first partner longer-serving members with newer members, after completing a simple form, sharing some background about themselves and their areas of interest and experience. Full details of the program can be accessed here and members are asked to complete and submit their forms by September 30. Please note the programme is open to members only.

The communications profession has never been more important to a company’s purpose, culture and strategy. Become a member of APACD and help advance our profession across the Asia-Pacific region.
